Privacy Policy

Mailing List Subscribers

For our online mailing list subscribers, we only collect your email address, never names, home address or phone numbers. For paper sign up at gigs, we do add an (optional) name column, purely to help us decipher hand writing when we come to add the email addresses into our system manually. All email addresses collected are stored in our database on Your Mailing List Provider (ymlp.com), which is GDPR compliant, as well as digitally on our computer when it comes to paper sign up (we scan the mailing list sheets into the computer before destroying the physical copy). We keep these digital copies purely as evidence of your consent to sign up to the mailing list. For those who sign up through the web form, YMLP stores the time, location and IP address of your sign up and you must click through on a confirmation email to confirm sign up. We never manually enter an email address into the system without written consent from the email address holder, which we also keep as evidence. To opt out of receiving mailing list communications once you have signed up, there is an unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email or you can contact us as and we will remove your address manually. We never pass your email address onto any other companies.

Online CD Purchase

Because we use PayPal for our online CD sales, it will automatically collect your name, email address and postal address, which is stored for a number of years (but not forever) in PayPal’s system. We will not add your email address to the mailing list after a CD purchase (unless you request it) and will only use your email to contact you if there is any problem with your order. As for your name and postal address, we just use that to send your CD to the right place! Again, we never pass your name, email or postal address onto any other companies. If you have any questions regarding our privacy policy, or wish to be added to or removed from a mailing list, you can contact us via email: cardboardfox@outlook.com
